From homeless to Harvard, Jess Bousa’s journey is one of extraordinary transformation. As a teenager, his life was spiraling out of control before he discovered his true purpose. As a high school honor student turned semi-professional BMX rider, Jess’s early achievements left him unfulfilled. This dissatisfaction led to drug addiction, homelessness, and trouble with the law.

Everything changed when Jess entered a faith-based rehab, where he discovered hope and purpose. After completing the program in 2003, he pursued education with relentless determination, earning two bachelor’s degrees with a 4.0 GPA, two master’s degrees, and attending Harvard for a year of doctorial classes.

Immediately following his 6 1/2 years in higher education Jess led a team from 2011 to 2017 that built one of the fastest-growing non-profit organizations in Maryland with 5 locations, 10 staff, 9 buildings on over 33 acres of property, and 7 figure budgets with an extraordinary community impact strategy that regularly reached thousands upon thousands of people. His ability to communicate and cast an inspiring vision, rally people and resources and develop systems and leaders as he grew the organization exponentially more than the year before is unprecedented.

Since 2018, Jess has built a team of specialized full time employees and expert partners who play different roles to help Exponential Media’s (formally Order From Chaos) vision to help businesses grow their revenue by increasing their brand awareness and lead flow. His creative, marketing genius and expert storytelling abilities keep the attention of people and get the attention of those not looking for his story but found it and became a part of a regional movement. He also self-published multiple books which one of them were picked up by a publishing company that sold over 10,000 copies. Moving you and your organization forward is what makes Jess tick.
